Glad Feet is the sangeet choreography experience by Glad Studio — made for the families and friends who want their big night to feel less like a performance and more like a celebration.
Because that's what a sangeet is really about, isn't it? Somewhere in the rush to get every step perfect, we forget the whole point — coming together, laughing through rehearsals, and dancing our hearts out for the couple we love. That joy is the part worth remembering.
That's exactly what our founder, Pooja Babu, holds onto. Having single-handedly choreographed over five large-scale sangeets, the one thing she cares about more than perfect footwork is making sure every family actually enjoys their time together as they celebrate the new couple.
So while our sessions are structured and thoughtfully planned, they're designed to be truly beginnerfriendly — enough to turn anyone, no matter how much of a "non-dancer" they think they are, into a real performer by sangeet night.
The idea of Glad Studio was born from my own journey — after years of dancing and working out in environments where the pressure to get everything right often outweighed the joy of the art itself. While I deeply value healthy competition, I believe that somewhere along the way, many of us have lost touch with the simple happiness that creativity and movement are meant to bring.
Glad Studio was created to change that.
It is a space designed to bring the focus back to joy — to remind every individual of the happiness that lies in learning, creating, and simply being present in the process. When you step into Glad Studio, my intention is for you to feel an immediate sense of ease and belonging — an energy that stays with you, supports your growth, and allows you to truly connect with your chosen art form.
